Creating a Rule of Life
These monthly gatherings provide practical lessons, dialogue, reflection, and small group interaction as we create our unique rules for living. Engaging the model of Benedictine spiritual life and practice, participants explore understandings of community, faithfulness, and transformation and discover and engage the practical expressions of prayer, study, recreation, work, and hospitality that center our lives in God and bring reconciliation to the world.
Using a Creating a Rule of Life guide along with a range of support resources, participants gather each month to craft and shape their unique approach to living lives of balance. The setting provides a welcome environment for conversation, exploration, encouragement, support, and mutual learning. Though open to all, the sessions are specifically designed to support individuals who wish to create a rule of life, for companions, and for companion candidates in formation.
