Choral Evensong with Dedication of the Ford Kneeler and Recognition of the Altar Guild

Ford Kneeler

The Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys sings Evensong. Susan Ford Bales, guest reader. The Ford kneeler joins the kneelers in St. John’s Chapel depicting the lives of individuals who have influenced American history, including all (deceased) U.S. presidents.

Choral Evensong

The service of Choral Evensong is sung on Thursday by the Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys. Weekday Evensong is sung most days during the school year by the Cathedral Choir, Monday through Thursday. Guest choirs may sing on Friday or Evening Prayer is said. Usually the Girl Choristers sing Monday and Wednesday; the Boy Choristers on Tuesday and Thursday. The Men of the Choir join the choristers on Wednesday and Thursday.
