Washington National Cathedral

Mary Magdalene is one of the most important witnesses and supporters of Jesus’ ministry, and some Christians claim that she is the “apostle to the apostles”. For centuries Christian pilgrims have made their way to shrines and basilicas dedicated to “The Magdalene” to observe her Feast Day with special services and celebrations. In keeping with this long tradition, we will dedicate this day of rest and contemplation to this extraordinary disciple.
