A Feather on the Breath of God: An Evening with Hildegard of Bingen--CANCELLED

Event image

Our guide for this evening pilgrimage is one of the most renowned and influential women of the Middle Ages, Hildegard of Bingen (1098–1179). A visionary, poet, musician, and healer, Hildegard was also abbess of a Benedictine community and advisor to bishops, popes, and kings. Her creative works and writings bring science, art, and faith together in a way that offers a meaningful connection to the rich spiritual traditions of the past. Explore some of the extraordinary writings, visions, and music of this Rhineland mystic in the quiet sanctuary of the Center for Prayer and Pilgrimage.
