Cathedral Crossroads: Drama for Your Spirit

Event image

Renowned English stage director Peter Brook calls theatre “the holy art.” Join Deryl Davis and explore the ways drama can be used as a tool for healing and ministry through improvisational exercises, role-playing, and the enhancement of listening and observational skills.

Deryl Davis directs the drama and ministry program at Wesley Theological Seminary and is program manager for The Sunday Forum: Critical Issues in the Light of Faith, at Washington National Cathedral. Deryl has acted and directed at Wesley and with a number of local theatre groups, in addition to directing Shakespeare in China. He is a member of Washington Playwrights Forum.

General offerings 6 pm to 8:45 pm; special program 7:30 to 8:30 pm. Free and open to the public.
