Hope for Darfur-Justice for Sudan March

Event image

Join members from the Cathedral and congregations of many faiths throughout the DC area for the Hope for Darfur-Justice for Sudan March and rally.

The march will begin at the athletic field on Raoul Wallenberg Place behind the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. At 1:30 pm participants will begin the short march to Lafayette Park, across from the White House. The rally at Lafayette Park will include survivors from Darfur and southern Sudan, dynamic speakers familiar with recent events, clergy from several denominations, and music.

The Cathedral Congregation is a participating sponsor of the Darfur Interfaith March. Reverend Wendy Tobias of the Cathedral Clergy is a confirmed speaker at the rally.
