Walkathon for Friendship Place
Walkathon
On a typical night there are nearly 6,000 homeless people living on DC streets or in shelters. Community Council for the Homeless at FRIENDSHIP PLACE is the only organization in upper Northwest DC that provides a continuum of services to our homeless neighbors. Whether you have an hour a week or a day each month, your participation will help build dignity and hope. For more information contact Rosalie Berk at friendship@cathedralcongregation.org or stop by the Congregation Table on the remaining October Sundays.
