Street Church
Street Church draws us into celebration of the Holy Eucharist with the homeless in the heart of one of DC's business districts near Metro Center. Volunteers are drawn from area churches. We prepare lunch at the Church of the Epiphany and then move to Franklin Park to worship and serve lunch to our homeless guests. Volunteers are needed to help prepare sandwiches at Epiphany, 1317 G Street, N.W., and to invite people to worship, usher, and distribute food and water. To learn more visit the congregation program table during Sunday coffee hours or contact MaryJo DeMatteis.
