Finding Our Way Again; the Return of Ancient Practices-Section 2

Event image

Wednesdays, February 29, March 14 and 28, April 4, 7-8:30 pm, Cathedral College; limited to 15 participants.

Explore and reclaim practices from our Christian heritage that we share with our Jewish and Muslim neighbors, our "Abrahamic brothers and sisters." McLaren says, "I am convinced that Jesus didn't come to start a new religion; he came to proclaim a new kingdom." We will focus on spiritual practices that bring us closer to that new kingdom and that cleanse and enlighten us and bring us closer to God. As McLaren's book Finding Our Way Again; the return of ancient practices signals, practices "help us find our way past the unsatisfactory alternatives of secularism, dangerous fundamentalism and mushy spirituality."

Parking at the Cathedral

Parking in the Cathedral’s underground garage is free on Sundays for services and organ recitals; parking for concerts and programs is available for an event-parking fee. Learn more about parking options for individuals and groups.
