Holy Eucharist and Celebration of American Preaching

Dr. Walter Brueggemann, guest preacher, Celebration of American Preaching series. Brueggemann is professor emeritus of Old Testament Studies at Columbia Theological Seminary. He is a past president of the Society of Biblical Literature and an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. He works with interpretive questions in the Bible with an eye on issues of justice.

The Celebration of American Preaching continues throughout the 2009 program year. Made possible by the Nathan D. Baxter Fund for Preaching at Washington National Cathedral, this series brings distinguished preachers from an array of perspectives and traditions to preach at the Canterbury Pulpit.
