Lecture by the Rev. Dr. James B. “Jay” Magness on “The Face of God: Ministering to the injured at the Pentagon” (“Faith & Doubt” Lecture Series, Part 2/5)

One year after the September 11 attacks, PBS-TV broadcast Faith and Doubt at Ground Zero, a documentary asking how our religious beliefs and unbelief were challenged by the tragedy. As the anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq approached, participants in Helen Whitney’s award-winning documentary wrestled with the ongoing questions of faith. The course, which featured segments of the film, lecture and discussion each night, led participants in a search for spiritual understanding.
