The Good Life
What will it take to make good life, and not merely a good living? In his new book The Good Life, Harvard professor Peter Gomes distinguishes between the plausible lies our culture tells us about the good life, and the fantastic truths that sustain us, equip us for genuine leadership, and alone can bring true and abiding fulfillment. The audience heard the latest thinking from the man Time magazine called one of the seven best preachers in america. Gomes serves as Pusey Minister in the Memorial Church and Plummer Professor of Christian Morals at Harvard University.
