Thanksgiving Day Holy Eucharist

Event image

The celebration of Holy Eucharist on Thanksgiving Day.

Adorned with an abundance of autumnal flowers, the Thanksgiving Day service includes joyous music and prayers of thanks and praise. Friends and family gather around the Lord’s table in gratitude for God’s generous blessings.

The Rev. Gwendolyn Tobias offered the homily, and the Rev. Canon Mary Sulerud presided at the Eucharist. The Cathedral Choir of Men and Girls sang works by Billings, Walton, and Candlyn. And organist Erik Wm. Suter concluded the service with Sigfrid Karg-Elert’s setting of Nun danket alle Gott.

Parking at the Cathedral

Parking in the Cathedral’s underground garage is free on Sundays for services and organ recitals; parking for concerts and programs is available for an event-parking fee. Learn more about parking options for individuals and groups.
