Transforming Literature of the Bible: Old Testament
This course provides, in two 17-week blocks, an opportunity to delve into our own experience of God in the context of the Bible. Participants spend several hours preparing for each seminar where they discuss their personal explorations and learn from each other how the great stories of scripture connect with their lives. Participants need the following books for the course: The Oxford Annotated Bible, New Revised Version with Apocrypha, 3rd Edition, and Contemporary Literature and the Life of Faith: Listening for God.
