Can We End Homelessness, especially in this Economy?

Dean Sam Lloyd and Philip Mangano, executive director of the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness, will discuss how to “abolish” homelessness in America this Sunday, Oct. 26, at Washington National Cathedral.

Mangano was recently named one of Time magazine’s “100 most influential people.” His mission is to coordinate the federal response to homelessness and foster partnerships between the public and private sectors to address the issue.

Mangano has received world-wide attention for his focus on what he calls the “abolition of homelessness” and for applying business planning techniques to homelessness solutions.

The Sunday Forum: Critical Issues in the Light of Faith is a weekly program of honest and intellectually probing dialogue about major issues of our time. The 50-minute conversation includes questions from live and online audiences and is held between Sunday morning services, beginning at 10:10 am.

As a church for national purposes, Washington National Cathedral welcomes people of all faiths and none to participate.
