Dean Sam Lloyd and Hinges of History series author Thomas Cahill will explore the spiritual lessons of history during a public forum this Sunday, October 12, at Washington National Cathedral.
Thomas Cahill is a best-selling author, scholar, and former religious books editor whose Hinges of History series on the roots of Western civilization has won millions of readers. Among his best-known works are How the Irish Saved Civilization, The Gifts of the Jews, Desire of the Everlasting Hills, Sailing the Wine-Dark Sea, and Mysteries of the Middle Ages.
The Sunday Forum: Critical Issues in the Light of Faith is a weekly program of honest and intellectually probing dialogue about major issues of our time. The 50-minute conversation includes questions from live and online audiences and is held between Sunday morning services, beginning at 10:10 am.
