New Service and Sacrifice Tour Honors US Servicemen and Women

WASHINGTON, D.C.— A new, one-hour tour honoring America’s servicemen and women is being offered by Washington National Cathedral.

The Service and Sacrifice Tour highlights historical and military iconography throughout the Cathedral’s Gothic structure. Participants can examine sculpture, stained glass, and needlework that pay tribute to many significant events in our nation’s history while honoring those who have served and sacrificed for their country. The tour also chronicles members of the military who were instrumental in the planning and creation of the Cathedral.

Tours are scheduled by appointment only for Mondays and Wednesdays at 9 am. Group size is limited to 25, and a donation of $5. per person is suggested.
