The Future of Christianity

Back to Press Releases »

Join Dean Sam Lloyd and theologian Harvey Cox as they explore the future of Christianity in a changing world on Sunday, March 7, at Washington National Cathedral.

The Sunday Forum is a 50-minute conversation that examines the intersection of faith and public life, and includes questions from live and online audiences. It is held between morning services in the main part of the Cathedral, beginning at 10:10, on most Sundays.

Harvey Cox is the Hollis Research Professor of Divinity at Harvard, where he has taught since 1965, both at Harvard Divinity School and in the Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences. His book, The Secular City (1965), became an international bestseller and has sold more than one million copies. In his latest book, The Future of Faith, he offers a new interpretation of the history and the future of Christianity.

The Sunday Forum is free, open to the public and webcast live at www.nationalcathedral.org. Complimentary parking is offered in the underground parking garage, accessed from Wisconsin Avenue.
