The Right Rev. Dean Elliott Wolfe
A graduate of Miami University of Ohio and Virginia Theological Seminary, Bishop Wolfe serves as ninth nishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Kansas. Consecrated bishop in 2003, Bishop Wolfe formerly served as vice rector of Saint Michael and All Angels Church in Dallas, Texas, and as associate rector for community life at Trinity Church in the city of Boston.
During his episcopacy he has placed an emphasis on congregational development and church planting and initiated an ambitious plan to expand campus ministries throughout the diocese.
Bishop Wolfe is an advisor to the College for Bishops and serves on the Program Budget and Finance and Pastoral Development Committees for the Episcopal Church. He was recently elected vice president of the House of Bishops.
