Marty Stiffler

Marty Stiffler joined the Cathedral staff in May 2007 as an Advancement Officer, with a focus on the Midwest. She was subsequently promoted to Assistant Director, Major & Planned Gifts in December 2007 and to her current position, Director of National & Volunteer Advancement, in August 2008. In this new role, Marty is responsible for the National Cathedral Association and oversight of all local and national volunteers.

Marty possesses more than 20 years of development experience. She has served as Manager of Community Relations for the country's eighth largest healthcare provider, Sutter Health; Associate Director of Development for Ravinia Festival; Director of Development for Providence-St. Mel School; and fundraising consultant for nonprofits such as the Board of Jewish Education and Chicago Chamber Musicians. Marty started her career as a volunteer and continued to hold volunteer positions including as a member of the community boards of the United Way, Sacramento Valley and the Josselyn Center for Mental Health, where she remains an Honorary Trustee. Marty earned her bachelor's degree from Mount Holyoke College and pursued the study of law at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law.
