Take an elevator to the Pilgrim Observation Gallery at the Cathedral west end (near the Wisconsin Avenue entrance) offering a 360-degree view of the city of Washington and its environs. The Cathedral sits on one of the highest points in Washington.
View flying buttresses, crockets and finials and the Gloria in Excelsis Tower, from the viewpoint of the carvers and workers who created them over the generations of the Cathedral’s construction.
